We are excited to announce that the programme will include a “Late Breaking News” session on Saturday 14 March 2026, designed to showcase the most recent and impactful developments within the SMA field.

This session will feature a series of short talks presenting significant new findings from clinical studies, real-world evidence (RWE), and fundamental and translational research that have not yet been presented in Europe at the time of the Congress.

The submission period for Late Breaking News abstracts will be open from 5 January to 25 January 2026, and authors will be notified by 6 February.
